Dear Surrey Heath members.
Please find below details of the currently reported burglaries (or attempted burglaries) to residential properties (including shed break-ins) as well as other crime statistics over the last period (03-11 Aug 2021). Summary details of these are provided in the list below.
Please note, where known I have used the approximate actual incident date/times rather than date the incident was reported (as there can be differences).
09 Aug 21:00 – 10 Aug 09:00. High Beeches. Summer house was entered and also shed had lock broken to gain entry with Trek EX8 mountain bike stolen.
To provide a further idea of the activities of the Surrey Heath Police team, there were 142 new incidents/occurrences reported during this period. A summary of these is given below along with some accompanying notes later;

Burglary Business and Community; church broken into overnight - person(s) have forced window open at the rear of the property gaining entry - unconfirmed theft or damage at time of initial report (Camberley).
Crime Vehicle; front & rear index plates stolen from black Mini Cooper (Deepcut), victim’s vehicle broken into and power tools taken whilst parked overnight in Travelodge car park (Frimley), van broken into whilst parked overnight at Travelodge and searched, nothing taken but damage to van caused (Frimley), Ford Transit Tipper stolen from a private car park overnight. Keys retained by the owner (Camberley), off-road motorbike - KTM 200 - stolen overnight from rear of property. Chassis number: VBKGSA2089M124842, Engine number: 0952331826 (Frimley), theft of rear number plate from grey AUDI Q2 whilst parked visiting unit at Watchmoor Trade Centre (Camberley).
Criminal Damage; inc front driver’s side window of Jaguar E-pace has been smashed whilst parked on driveway - no entry to vehicle gained, thought to have happened at 02:00 (Camberley), suspect has used unknown object to smash the window next to the front door late evening (Bagshot), vehicle parked in parking bay on road has had its offside front window smashed and rear offside tyre let down (Camberley), door at side of garden to the house forced open causing damage to the lock and flowers trampled leading to garage at rear of garden. No sign of any attempt to gain entry to garage (Camberley), report that house under renovation has been attended by scaffolding company staff following a dispute over payment, they have caused damage to front gates and solar panels whilst recovering their own equipment (Windlesham), report of criminal damage with elements of ASB by youths being on top of shop roof (Frimley).
Drug Seizure; Border Force seizure of magic mushrooms (Camberley).
Drugs; whilst attending a concern for safety visit, a small amount of cannabis was found at the property and seized for destruction (Camberley), male stopped in vehicle and found in possession of small quantity of cannabis in grinder (Camberley), male stopped as driver of motor vehicle and found in possession of small quantities of cocaine following drug search (Camberley).
Drunk/Drug In Charge; vehicle driven south on Frimley Road left carriageway and struck concrete post and rebounded into carriageway. On police attendance driver and only occupant provided negative breath test and negative drugs wipe test. Driver was clearly under the influence of something and a field impairment test was carried out. Male subsequently arrested for being unfit to drive through drink or drugs (Camberley), following RTC where female driving a vehicle has hit a parked car, has blown 97 on roadside and then failed to provide in custody (Windlesham), driver has been stopped and provided a positive specimen of saliva for cocaine (Camberley), Ranger Rover Evoque has collided with several parked vehicles. Vehicle has come to stop and driver had de-camped. Female who is the r/o located nearby and under influence of alcohol (Bagshot), male stopped in his vehicle, suspected to be under the influence of alcohol, blew 130 at the roadside (Camberley), male stopped as driver of a motor vehicle, appeared under the influence of alcohol and failed road side breath test blowing 62 (Camberley), male driver over prescribed limit, no insurance and expired provisional license (Camberley), male spotted in his car drinking from a bottle of vodka. Male failed to provide at road side and was arrested. In custody blew 107 and 118 (Camberley).
Firearm/Ballistic Seized; suspects have fired a BB handgun in a park before concealing within the seat unit of a moped (Bisley).
Firearm – Non Notifiable Crime; whilst clearing house informant has found what appeared to be a firearm. Shown to be a replica and was handed in for destruction (Chobham).
Fraud Being Investigated; male & female committed slight-of-hand payment fraud at garden centre to purchase items for lower amount and then immediately went and obtained refund for said items at full price (Bagshot), suspect has fraudulently taken out large loan against victim’s property that suspect has no charge against (Mytchett).
Fraud Vulnerable Victim; victim concerned by phone caller asking for postcode, full name, national insurance number details (Bagshot), banking safeguarding protocol report – concern raised by bank regards customer trying to transfer large amount of monies (Camberley).
Pets/Domesticated Animals; victim was out running - male with dog on long lead was walking past - dog lunged at victim and bitten her on leg puncturing skin and damaging running trousers. The dog owner provided their details (Chobham), victim’s cat has been found mutilated and dead (Lightwater).
Theft; repeat occurrence of theft of boxes of doughnuts from premises (Camberley), male has entered garage store, placed items under jumper before walking out making no attempt to pay (Bagshot), theft from shop - 3 young female suspects have removed mobile phone from shop (Camberley), young male wearing red jacket entered store and proceeded to steal around £200 in Nicorette stock (Camberley), parcel of textiles ordered from India has gone missing from Fed-Ex depot (Camberley), 2 females presented themselves at store with furniture asking for a refund. When refused without receipt they left with the furniture. Only found out later by staff the furniture was removed from the shop floor and stolen (Camberley), attempted theft from shop – male went to leave without paying but left items when challenged (Frimley Green), female has entered store and placed items inside her handbag before leaving making no attempt to pay for items (Bagshot), informant has noticed Omega watch and loose change missing from flat after employing a cleaner for home (Camberley), report of theft of jewellery from property (Mytchett).
Theft Cat Converter; owner returned to vehicle (Honda CRV) parked in Admiralty Way and disturbed two suspects in process of cutting off cat converter. Men made off in a Renault Scenic on false plates (Camberley), theft of cat converter from Lexus RS Hybrid whilst parked in overflow car park at Windlesham Golf Club whilst attending a function (Bagshot).
