Residential Burglary and other Crime Report 20 July 2021

Dear Surrey Heath members.
Please find below details of the currently reported burglaries (or attempted burglaries) to residential properties (including shed break-ins) as well as other crime statistics over the last period (13-20 July 2021).

Summary details of these are provided in the list below.

Please note, where known I have used the approximate actual incident date/times rather than date the incident was reported (as there can be differences).
  • 19 July (17:45-20:00). Old Dean Road. Property entered and laptop stolen.
To provide a further idea of the activities of the Surrey Heath Police team, there were 111 new incidents/occurrences being looked into during this period. A summary of these is given below along with some accompanying notes later;

Absconder/AWOL/Wanted (1), ASB Nuisance (1), Attempted Suicide (1), Burglary Business & Community (2), Burglary Residential (1), Child Protection Incident (9), Concern For Safety (2), Crime Other (6), Crime Public Order (7), Crime Vehicle (3), Criminal Damage (5), Custody Admin (1), Domestic Incident (16), Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme – R2K (1), Family File (4), Firearms – Non Notifiable Crime (1), Immigration (2), Master Occurrence (2), Mental Health (5), Missing Person – High Risk (1), Neighbour Dispute (3), Offensive Weapon (1), Out of Force Enquiries (1), Public Order (3), Road Related Offence (1), Sexual Offence (2), Stalking / Harassment (1), Suspicious Incident (1), Theft (7), Violent Crime Other (5), Violent Crime Public Place (4), Violent Domestic (4), Vulnerable Adult Incident (8).


Burglary Business & Community; suspect has thrown a brick into window of jewellers and has taken large selection of items from front of window (Frimley), unknown persons have gained entry to parish community hall via unknown means. A window has been damaged (smashed). Items have been taken and general anti-social behaviour inside (Camberley).
Crime Other; inc suspects have caused permanent damage to 5m2 of land by lighting a campfire on greenspace (Windlesham), Make Off without Payment for fuel by suspect in white transit (Windlesham).

Crime Vehicle; vehicle number plates had been stolen (both front and back) overnight from black Audi S3 2009 (Camberley), 2 x males in van attempted to open door of van parked on driveway (Camberley), theft of motor vehicle from residential road (Frimley).

Criminal Damage; inc damage caused to wooden gate by two males using a baseball bat and knife (Camberley), suspect has used spray paint to write graffiti on building site hoarding causing damage (Camberley), victim had a small tree planted which has been lifted up, broken in two and thrown in to victim’s garden (West End), 2 males have walked past table outside pub and picked up glasses and broken them (Camberley).
Offensive Weapon; male has attended address whilst in possession of a metal pole, has forced open window and threatened to stab the female occupant (Camberley).
Theft; front number plate removed and taken from 21 plate silver Mitsubishi outlander PHEV (Frimley), theft of smoking items from Savers store (Camberley), victim parked his bike in front of the Pure gym and when he came out at 1400 the bike was gone. Bike had a combination lock and this was taken too. Theft caught on CCTV - suspect is a white male wearing black clothing including hoodie (Camberley), washing machine taken off of drive (Lightwater), set of oars have been taken and damage has been caused to the hull of boat overnight at The Quays (Mytchett), radiator stolen from an outside communal cupboard (Camberley).
As always, the local Neighbourhood Team are keen to receive information on all crime spotted or believed to have occurred as this can assist with ongoing enquiries, as well as helping to build up their wider intelligence picture.
