Residential Burglary and other Crime Report 07 June 2021

Dear Surrey Heath members.

Please find below details of the currently reported burglaries (or attempted burglaries) to residential properties (including shed break-ins) as well as other crime statistics over the last period (01 – 07 June 2021).

Summary details of these are provided in the list below.

Please note, where known I have used the approximate actual incident date/times rather than date the incident was reported (as there can be differences).

  • 02 June 2021 (10:45). Victoria Avenue. Theft of cash from room in shared house.

To provide a further idea of the activities of the Surrey Heath Police team, there were 120 new incidents/occurrences being looked into during this period. A summary of these is given below along with some accompanying notes later;

Absconder/AWOL/Wanted (2), Assault On Police (3), Burglary Business & Community (1), Burglary Residential (1), CCE Risk Management (1), Child Protection Incident (5), Collision/Road Incident (1), Crime Other (6), Crime Public Order (2), Crime Vehicle (4), Criminal Damage (15), Custody Admin (1), Domestic Incident (8),  Drugs (5), Fire (1), Fraud Vulnerable Victim (1), Hate/Diversity Incident (1), Master Occurrence (3), Mental Health (2), Missing Person - Low Risk (1), Neighbour Dispute (1), Not A Crime (1), Public Order (10), Rape/Serious Sexual offence (2), Road Related Offence (2), RTC Serious Injury (1), Sudden Death Non Suspicious (2), Suspicious Incident (2), Theft (8), Violent Crime Other (4), Violent Crime Public Place (7), Violent Domestic (2), Vulnerable Adult Incident (8).


Burglary Business & Community; two males broke into business premises, caused damage and carried out graffiti (Frimley Green).

Collision/Road Incident; 2 vehicle collision on Red Road with one party sustaining potentially serious injuries (Lightwater).

Crime Other; inc drone being flown near to an active airport (Fairoaks) without permission.

Crime Vehicle; report of victim's bank card stolen from vehicle whilst it was being washed and then used fraudulently – reported to bank and victim was refunded (Camberley), wing mirror ripped off Fiat Grand Punto (Frimley), both registration plates stolen off of white Peugeot Partner van (Mytchett), rear windscreen smashed on a Volvo and an electrical tyre pump stolen whilst parked in front of house (Chobham).

Criminal Damage; panels of bus shelter smashed by group of male youths (Camberley), garage door damaged (Camberley), TV arial has been broken off of roof and thrown off (Camberley), unknown projectile hit victim’s vehicle whilst driving (Chobham), construction site entrance gates broken into (Bagshot), group of teenagers damaged a fishing platform causing it to collapse -have also thrown scaffolding poles and rubbish into the lake (Mytchett), whilst driving on A331 victim’s vehicle hit by items from other vehicle, with damage being caused (Mytchett), patio door glass exterior pane smashed but interior pane intact, no signs of entry (Camberley), tyre slashed (Camberley), automatic doors in town centre damaged by being forced open by fleeing suspect (Camberley), victim painting outside of office when group of approx five youths walked past, then one of the group deliberately turned around, walked back to the paint can and kicked it over damaging newly resurfaced road and pavement (Camberley).

Drugs; female arrested for separate issue was searched and a quantity of suspected class A drugs found within her handbag (Chobham), Royal Mail sorting office received a package that smelt strongly of cannabis (Camberley), member of public located a phone and in rear case located a small white bag containing suspected Class A (Deepcut), 18y/o male stopped smoking cannabis – handled using Community Resolution (Camberley).

Fire; fire set deliberately in scrub/woodland (Camberley).

Fraud Vulnerable Victim; informant received a text supposedly from Hermes to which she responded but did not send any money (Camberley).

Road Related Offence; female driver stopped A30 with no valid insurance and only provisional license – vehicle was seized (Windlesham),  suspect has Taken Without Consent vehicle, he had no insurance, no driving license and provided a positive cannabis drug wipe at the road (Camberley).

Suspicious Incident; vehicle linked with drugs sighted in Heatherside. Occupants out of vehicle. Section 23 search negative (Camberley).

Theft; inc suspect has stolen clothing from Jack Wills stores (Camberley), theft of black Range Rover Sport overnight – keys not taken (Camberley), theft of cigarettes and scratch cards from a supermarket at Heatherside (Camberley), suspect has stolen the victim's bag which had been left at their feet whilst in supermarket – bag later returned to victim (Camberley), victim left card wallet in Uber and was used by next passenger before cards could be stopped (Windlesham), theft of phone from bag whilst victim shopping in town centre store (Camberley), suspect has entered the store and attempted to steal various items (Frimley).
