There have been 5 recent reports of Vehicle Crime caused to motor vehicles in the Fieldway area of Haslemere.

It would appear that these are part of an ongoing series which first appeared on the 22/01/18 with the latest being reported on 05/02/18.

What happened?

Overnight, various motor vehicles in the Fieldway area have been broken into, interfered with or stolen.

What are Police doing about it?

At risk are unattended and insecure vehicles. Police believe these to be random attacks and are appealing for any information.

House to house enquiries are ongoing to establish any positive lines of enquiry. 
Police are urging residents to report anything suspicious at the time on 101 or 999 if there’s an emergency.

Your local officers have enhanced local rural patrol plans in these areas.

How can the Public help?

The best way to protect your vehicle is to lock your car whenever you leave it and then check again.

Do not storing things in the vehicle take them with you.

Park in a well-lit area.
